Popular domain registrar Name.com will soon offer discounted domain registrations and other incentives for their best customers. A new investor program will officially launch next Thursday, July 1st.
The only requirement to claim investor benefits is that your Name.com account has at least 25 domains.
A VeriSign fee increase will soon raise prices across the board at all domain registrars. Name.com’s new pricing will be $9.99 for new .COM and .NET registrations for all customers.
The domain registration discount for the investor program has not yet been announced. It should be a very competitive price which will rival industry leader, GoDaddy.
The program will include additional benefits depending on how large your portfolio at Name.com is. A larger portfolio of domains could earn you completely free private WHOIS services. The exact number of domains required and benefits for each program level are yet to be announced.
Be sure to visit the Name.com blog on July 1st for complete details on the new investor program.
