An idea for domainers to help charity.
After paying $127.50 for a sugar cookie in the name of charity, I had an idea. Couldn’t we auction off some other swag for charity?

Associated Cities, the organization that stages the GeoDomain Expo has become a non-profit trade association and members have elected new officers to lead the group. Fred Mercaldo of Scottsdale.com was chosen President and Jessica Bookstaff of PigeonForge.com becomes Secretary/Treasurer.

As if a flimsy trademark wasn’t enough…
It’s bad enough that Romantic Tours, Inc. has convinced three panels to hand over domain names based on its trademark for “Hot Russian Brides”. Now the company has gone too far: it tried to get a domain name based on a directory on the web site.

Day 2 at the 2010 GeoDomain Expo Thursday was also the first full business day at the event being staged at the Roosevelt Hotel in New Orleans. We have photos and highlights from both the business day and a night time trip to famous New Orleans night spot Tipitina's.

I think I can say I have official seen it all and this is just proof that ANY domain name can sell for ANY price! I mean really, I almost crapped my pants when I saw the domain name that it even "sold", let alone when I saw $18,000 after it, I almost fell off [...]
